OK, everyone! here is how we start: one time every week, eat a bowl of plain rice for a meal.

You can have other meals that day, that's no problem. But just once a week, do this.
I know it is boring. You can put vinegar on. or salt. But nothing with color… nothing interesting. I know it is boring- it's supposed to be. If you find yourself thinking, "why am I doing this?", just think about this:

More than 900 million people in the world are going hungry right now. For some of them, this is the best thing they eat all day.. if they even do this well. Here in America, we are spoiled, and can object to a meal being 'boring'. But I think we should stop objecting.

So just once a week, eat a plain bowl of rice. Its a dollar at your local Chinese joint. Eat it, and think about someone other than yourself.
